Golchin Smart Media Company, with over half a century of experience in the print media industry, entered the field of secure printing in 2007 (1386 in the Iranian calendar) by equipping itself with modern printing technologies and specializing in the production of various types of smart cards, bank cards, and SIM cards.
Currently, the company, benefiting from advanced personalization and envelope insertion equipment, is considered one of the most well-equipped card manufacturers in the country—particularly in the production of plastic cards. It has a production capacity of over 200,000 card bodies and 80,000 personalized and enveloped cards per day. Given Golchin Smart Media's notable experience in the design and production of magnetic, smart, and SIM cards, we decided to enhance and expand our card personalization process. To achieve this, we designed and developed laser personalization machines, replacing thermal machines. This transition not only reduced our reliance on imported consumables (such as ribbons and other components) but also improved the quality of personalization for both fixed and variable data by using laser engraving.
In 2008 (1387), the company received the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Certificate from UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service). In the current year, it upgraded its certification to ISO 9001:2008 from TÜV Germany.
Additionally, in 2014, the company obtained the following certifications from TÜV Germany:
- ISO 10002 for Customer Satisfaction
- ISO 18000 for Occupational Health and Safety
- Environmental Orderliness Certification
Furthermore, last year, Golchin Smart Media was awarded a certification by the IRSQ (Iranian Society for Quality).
